Biography

Gurpreet S. Shergill is a Senior Associate Lawyer at Mann Law with more than a decade of experience advising individuals, small businesses, and multinational corporations on complex legal matters. His practice focuses primarily on Canadian immigration law, with additional experience in wills and estates and general legal matters.

Prior to joining Mann Law, Gurpreet practiced civil litigation, administrative law, and immigration law, regularly appearing before courts of both primary and appellate jurisdiction. He has represented insurance companies, state urban development authorities, and regulatory boards, developing strong advocacy skills in both written and oral proceedings.

At Mann Law, Gurpreet plays a key role in cross-border legal operations, particularly involving Canada–United States–Mexico (CUSMA / USMCA) matters (formerly NAFTA). His multi-disciplinary background enables him to approach legal issues strategically, efficiently, and holistically.
